In high school, I started experimenting with self tanner and it wasn’t always pretty. My tan was streaky, orange, and far from what I was hoping for. Like many of us, I eventually turned to tanning beds, thinking that would be the solution. It didn’t take long before I started noticing signs of UV damage showing up on my body. After a few conversations with local aestheticians It was brought to my attention how dangerous UV damage can truly be. That was my wake up call, I knew I couldn’t keep risking my skin or my health just to be tan.
